This recipe has been in my family since my sister got married almost 50 years ago! And then it became my brother John’s birthday dinner and still is to this day. It’s a great casserole, full of the flavors of turkey, mushrooms, some onion and celery, cream and a little sherry. We top ours with parmesan cheese. This is another one of those great value dishes – you get a lot of bang for your buck!
Heat in a 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes uncovered so the crust can get nice and brown.
