This is a crowd pleaser all around! My boys have ordered the same thing from our local Chinese takeout since they were in elementary school. And it’s always Sesame Chicken. But when I tasted it, all I could taste was a lot of extra junk that just didn’t need to be in there. So we set out to making it ourselves. And we’ve done a great job getting it just right! Crispy bites of white meat chicken breasts, a wonderful thick sweet sesame sauce, and served with steamed vegetables and fluffy rice. The choice of rice is yours – we do white rice or if you want to sneak a little extra fiber into their diets, brown rice.
Place the chicken on a cookie sheet and reheat at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. The vegetables and rice can be microwaved, reheated on top of the stove, or placed covered in the oven.
