All of the main courses are delicious, but this one salad is my “house” salad. It’s been published in multiple cookbooks, and even today I served it to a lunch of 108 ladies, and I got SO many compliments! It’s mixed greens, diced apples, slivered red onions, blue cheese and toasted pecans. Sounds alright but then BAM! The dressing I make is a sweet and sour vinaigrette that absolutely pulls it all together. We had this salad every day for a year after the first time I tried it. Yes, it’s that good!
