This is a bomb of a chicken pot pie. I first had this dish back in Winston Salem NC where the Old Salem Village was basically a haven for everything Moravian. This is a double crusted pie filled to the brim with chicken and gravy (no veggies) and topped with a fabulous butter crusted top. You’ll also receive extra gravy and homemade awesome mashed potatoes. I love making homemade mashed potatoes but don’t do it too often! It’s perfect with the chicken pie and gravy!!
Moravian chicken pie: 375 for 35-45 minutes. If frozen cook at 400 60-90 minutes.
