This is a best selling dish from Davenport’s Daily Delights. Everyone loves meatloaf but ours is especially tasty! Ground beef is mixed with all sorts of flavors and if you happen to have any left over, it’s wonderful as a sandwich for lunch the next day. Served with homemade mashed potatoes and the halfway house green beans. These beans are legendary and we usurped the recipe from the Halfway House restaurant, rightfully named for the wonderful boarding house style restaurant on 1-95 halfway between Richmond and Petersburg, Virginia. They are divine!
Keep the meatloaf in the foil and place on a cookie sheet. Reheat at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. The mashed potatoes can be placed in the oven at the same time, covered.
