This is my friend Amy’s very favorite dish I make. I have so much respect for the people from India. They take their cooking seriously and are so proud to share it with all of us. When I was taught how to make this dish, Swapna took as much time as needed to pull out the flavor of both the cabbage and the peas, while incorporating her seasonings into them and making it a whole new flavor! I love this too and you will as well.
